Viscous foods, cosmetic products, etc. can sometimes only be diluted or homogenised with difficulty for the determination of bacterial counts. Adding 1 gram of creamy sample into test tubes is laborious as is dissolving it. The long vortexing of the test tubes is unpleasant and painful for sensitive hands.
A new video shows how the Inlabtec Serial Diluter UA mixes and dilutes viscous media without tedious vortexing by hand.
The sample is added directly into the Serial Dilution Bags filled with 9 ml diluent while the mixer is in operation. Therefor, the added sample is continuously homogenised without aggregating and sticking again in the bag. Automatic mixing means that other tasks can be carried out in parallel and staff are freed from the unpleasant vortexing of test tubes.
As a rule, samples and diluents that can be processed in test tube by vortexing are generally suitable for working with the Inlabtec Serial Diluter UA. Please do not hesitate to contact us for further information: firstname.lastname@example.org
